Wool Fabric

Wool fabric is produced using the fiber obtained from sheep and certain other animals, including cashmere from goats, mohair from goats and angora from rabbits among others. Wool has several qualities that that make is an extremely versatile fabric and fiber. Wool's texture make it easier to spin because the individual fibers attach to each other, so they stay together.

Wool fabrics have greater bulk than other textiles, so less is truly more when you compare wool to other fabrics. Wool also holds more air than other fabrics, which causes it to be a great insulator. The great thing is that the insulation works both ways, to help keep your temperature constant. We at Casa de Novelas only use wools woven in Biella Italy, which we believe are the lightest and finest wool fabrics you will find.
