Linen Fabric

Linen is made from the fibers of the flax plant. Linen textiles appear to be some of the oldest in the world, dating back many thousands of years. Blazers made of linen are valued for their exceptional coolness and freshness in hot weather due to its lightweight, breathable fibers.

Therefore, linen is ideal for Casa de Novelas’ casual, deconstructed blazers and jackets. It’s a fabric that works perfectly in warmer weather. It does tend to wrinkle a bit more than other fabrics, however, we at Casa de Novelas call this an “Elegant Wrinkle”.

Whether it’s The Great Gatsby, The Talented Mr. Ripley or The Tomas Crown Affair, when tinsel town wants elegance, they always turn to the linen jacket. Nothing says “nonchalant style” better.
